Litigation Secretary
to join their busy litigation team in Trowbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong legal secretarial experience, ideally within litigation, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing high-quality support to fee earners. The Role As Litigation Secretary, you will: Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and court forms through accurate audio and copy typing Manage diaries, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings and court dates Liaise with clients, courts, counsel, and external experts in a professional manner Maintain accurate and confidential case files (digital and paper-based) Assist with billing processes, including preparing cost schedules and managing disbursements Handle incoming calls, emails, and post with professionalism and efficiency The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within litigation or dispute resolution Fast and accurate typing skills (digital dictation experience desirable) Confident IT skills with Microsoft Office and case management systems (e.g. Proclaim or similar) Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal A professional, discreet, and proactive approach Able to work both independently and as part of a team Desirable: Experience in personal injury, civil litigation, or family law Knowledge of court procedures and legal terminology What's on Offer
