Cleaning Operative
We are currently recruiting for the position of Cleaning Operative based at St Johns Ambulance, Exeter.
Pay rate: £12.60 per hour
Working patterns: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 5pm to 8pm.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain cleanliness of assigned building or area to high standards, ensuring customer satisfaction as per contract specifications.
* Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated collection points.
* Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops.
* Mop floors with wet or damp mops.
* Suction clean carpets and perform spot cleaning.
* Operate electrically powered scrubbing, polishing, and spray cleaning machines after proper training.
* Dust, damp wipe, wash, or polish furniture, ledges, windowsills, radiators, shelves, and fixtures.
* Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels as needed.
* Clean toilets, urinals, sinks, and drinking fountains.
* Use chemical agents as directed, after proper training.
* Perform wall washing and inside window cleaning within safe height limits.
* Perform other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection guidelines.
* Perform any other duties assigned by management relevant to the role.
