Job Title: GCSE SEN Tutor Location: South East England, Oxfordshire, Oxford Job Type: Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated Tutor to join our team in Oxford, South East England. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) preparing for their GCSE examinations (English, Maths and Science). Job Duties: Develop and implement personalised learning plans for students with SEN Deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to individual student needs Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Provide feedback and support to students to enhance their academic performance Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure student success Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience Knowledge of SEN teaching strategies and accommodations Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs Experience using assistive technology in the classroom Working Conditions: This position is based in Oxford, South East England. The role involves working full-time hours. The tutor will work closely with students with SEN in a classroom setting or one-on-one sessions, providing support and guidance to help them succeed academically.
