Our client is a well-established and thriving business, part of a large international organisation, manufacturing specialist products for a wide variety of industries.
They are currently seeking a Supply Chain Administrator to work specifically with Goods in within the Supply Chain department.
This is a varied and interesting role combining some office and computer work with hands on activities to help with deliveries.
Duties will include:
* Coordinate & book in deliveries to JD Edwards system, performing initial visual checks.
* Ensuring Quantity and Delivery dates match the Purchase Order prior to receipt
* Reporting of any delivery discrepancies.
* Transferring received inspection data within dedicated spreadsheets.
* Ensuring traceability of material movements from Goods In to Inspection Routes and on to Final receipt.
* Ensure a high level of stock control and accuracy.
* Handling Materials correctly and storing in the correct manner.
Requirements
* A good level of Education including GCSE in Maths & English
* Some PC skills with good attention to detail
* Ability to manually handle items from deliveries
* Excellent communication skills
