Music Teacher

We are working in partnership with a thriving and forward-thinking Academy in Hertfordshire to recruit a passionate and creative Music Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
2. Inspire students to develop their musical skills, creativity, and confidence
3. Deliver a broad curriculum including performance, composition, and music theory
4. Contribute to extracurricular activities such as choirs, bands, and school productions
5. Support whole-school events and performances
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
7. A degree in Music or a related subject
8. Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting
9. Strong practical and theoretical musical knowledge
10. The ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
