Production Shift Leader / Production Supervisor
Location: Marston Green
Shifts: Currently working rotational shifts of 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm however, this will be changing in the near future to a 3 rotational shift pattern (6am-2pm / 2pm - 10pm / 10pm - 6am)
Salary: £43,500 rising to £47,000
We are looking for an experienced Production Shift Leader to lead safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations while developing and supporting shop-floor teams.
The ideal Production Shift Lead will have worked in the packaging / FMGC industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead site safety, PPE compliance, LOTO, and safe working practices
2. Deliver daily production plans, meeting targets for output, efficiency, waste, and downtime
3. Monitor KPIs and take corrective action when performance drops
4. Ensure quality checks are completed and non-conforming product is quarantined
5. Allocate staff effectively, manage breaks and absences, and plan shift cover
6. Coach and develop operators to improve skills, performance, and teamwork
