Woodland Group is recruiting a Warehouse Administrator for the iPort in Doncaster. The Warehouse Administrator will oversee the administrative aspects of our warehouse operations.
Monday to Friday 9am‑5pm.
Responsibilities
* Driver Coordination
o Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, addressing inquiries and providing clear instructions to ensure efficient operations.
o Manage bookings for incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper scheduling and communication with all relevant parties.
o Answer office phone calls and direct them to the correct departments.
* Documentation and Paperwork
o Print, organise and file all necessary paperwork.
o Maintain and update records to support efficient warehouse processes and accurate inventory tracking.
* Bay Assignments
o Assign bays to drivers according to the operational schedule to minimise delays.
* Delivery Note Accuracy
o Verify and issue accurate delivery notes to drivers, including all relevant information.
* Document Control
o Manage and control all warehouse‑related documents, ensuring compliance with company policies.
o Identify and report non‑conformances, raising NCRs as required.
* Reporting to Stock & Planning Manager
o Provide regular updates and reports highlighting key metrics, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
* Collaboration with Warehouse Team
o Work closely with Warehouse Supervisors and Forklift Drivers to ensure smooth operations and open communication.
o Participate in team meetings to suggest ways to improve efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
* Prior experience in warehouse administration or a related field.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with warehouse management systems and inventory control software.
* Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
* Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Professional demeanour when interacting with drivers, colleagues and management.
