Overview
We’re looking to expand our neuro occupational therapy team with a friendly, dynamic professional who values growth and teamwork. You will work closely with senior occupational therapists and physiotherapists, develop and deliver high‑quality care to people with neurological conditions, and support students and therapy support workers.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide occupational therapy to residents of Harrow in the Early Supported Discharge Service for Stroke and the Community Neuro Rehabilitation Service.
* Assess, treat and manage your own caseload, ensuring professional documentation and clinical governance standards are met.
* Build strong relationships with referrers including GPs, hospitals, district nurses, wheelchair services, Speech & Language Therapy and other CLCH services.
* Supervise rehabilitation assistants and OT students, sharing knowledge and expertise.
* Deliver therapy in a variety of settings – client homes, clinics, residential care homes, continuing care homes and community centres.
* Engage in continuous professional development, CPD and research/audit projects within the service.
Interpersonal Skills
* Autonomous practitioner with excellent time management.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Capacity to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
* Comfortable in a digital environment, with training provided on electronic patient records.
