As part of an expanding department responsible for all brand visual output, dunhill is seeking a Senior Digital Designer to join the Creative Studio team. This pivotal role involves reporting directly to the Global Creative Content Director and serving as a brand ambassador to elevate all digital design output.
The Senior Digital Designer will supervise and coordinate digital design, ensuring consistent and cohesive brand relevance, image, and visuals are communicated across our e-commerce and digital channels.
In this role, you will contribute to all phases of the product design process, collaborating with other teams to create world-class experiences and maintaining a high standard for our design output.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver digital designs across various platforms, including .com, EDM, and social media, with occasional involvement in print
2. Collaborate with Art Directors and Graphic Designers to create pixel-perfect designs
3. Act as the creative lead for seasonal designs on owned platforms, such as .com and EDM
4. Generate highly creative, engaging, and unique concepts and ideas for the design and execution of visual and communication assets
5. Design and manage requests from e-commerce, marketing, press, VM/retail, and design teams
6. Collaborate with the Global Creative Content Director to drive concepts through to design executions
7. Create detailed overview decks for internal sharing or external briefs
8. Implement successful digital media campaigns
9. Create layouts, guidelines, and manage global assets for each season
10. Drive design development and delivery across digital and motion design
11. Grow and maintain relationships with suppliers
12. Nurture and mentor junior team members, overseeing and approving all graphic assets produced
13. Produce creative graphic solutions aligned with marketing strategy, fulfilling brand values, and business objectives
14. Develop creative solutions to enhance marketing events and collateral
15. Support other areas of the business graphically, ensuring a clear and creative presentation of information
16. Assist and coordinate the development and design of all creative marketing output, including visual content production, product images, illustration (project basis), digital marketing strategies, printed material, creative film production/directing, and digital layouts and formats
17. Develop graphics to support the brand in marketing events, ensuring consistency across multiple platforms
18. Work collaboratively in a team environment, taking briefings from multiple internal clients, different sources of input, and the Global Creative Content Director.
19. Realize and implement the ideas of the Design Teams
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
20. Previous experience in Digital and Graphic Design
21. Previous involvement in the luxury industry is highly valued
22. Demonstrated proficiency with a strong portfolio encompassing layout, typography, branding, and motion
23. In-depth knowledge of both print and digital design processes
24. Ability to bridge global trends and emerging technologies with design interpretation
25. Established network of skilled designers, illustrators, CGI artists, video editors, printers, and packaging suppliers
26. Proficient in design tools such as Figma or Sketch
27. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, Lightroom, and XD
28. Competence in Motion Graphic Software: After Effects and Premier Pro.
29. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), PowerPoint, and Keynote
30. Experience with 3D software is not necessary but appreciated
31. Skills in typography, branding, and packaging
32. Proficiency in Editorial Design, including campaign layouts and guidelines
33. Excellent understanding of print processes and production
34. Familiarity with Digital User Experience, including wire-framing and process flow is not necessary but appreciated
35. Basic knowledge of Digital Front End technologies such as CSS, HTML, and Javascript is not necessary but appreciated
36. Well-versed in photography, filming, retouching, and video editing
37. Strong file management – ensure all final assets are saved, categorized and accessible from anyone in the company
38. High visual aesthetic and experience of lifestyle or fashion brands
39. Ability to work in a deadline-orientated environment
