Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and filing VAT returns.
Duties
* Manage and maintain company financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
* Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is correctly recorded.
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper with at least 2 years' experience.
* Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and Dext.
* Ability to perform bank reconciliations.
* Understanding of VAT basics and filing VAT returns.
* Understanding of MTD, this is not essential as training will be given.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
This position is ideal for organised individuals looking to utilise their expertise within a supportive team environment.
It is a part-time position, but full-time would be considered for the right candidate. This is an office based position.
