Job Summary
Plain Janes Housekeeping Services are looking for a School cleaning operative in the Fairfield area.
We offer an enhanced rate of pay and provide you with all equipment and products along with Plain Janes T shirts. You will work individually with your own routine.
Hours are 4pm to 7pm Monday to Friday term time only.
We run a fortnightly pay schedule. Holidays are paid on accrued hours.
Our criteria to join the team is a love of cleaning and attention to detail. We are looking for a high standard of cleaning with the member of our team to be polite, punctual and most of all happy.
Must be able to drive and have your own vehicle.
Enhances DBS essential. We are able to process this for you.
Duties include.
Cleaning classrooms and corridors. Including, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising desks and chairs.
Cleaning office areas.
Cleaning toilets, both staff and children's and replenishing all consumables including toilet roll, paper towels and soap.
Emptying all bins.
Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Skills:
- Experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning of all areas.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and coworkers.
