Our Diversity Study Trips (DST) division specialises in educational group travel, working in partnership with Colleges, Universities and other education providers, to tailor bespoke study experiences and travel itineraries to inspire students outside of the classroom.

We are currently looking for Dutch or German speaker to be an Educational Development Executive to join the Diversity Study Trips team to develop new school, college and university business. You will be responsible for building relationships with teaching staff from universities, colleges and schools to identify and secure new sales opportunities. Experience of working within or selling to the Education sector is essential, as is a proactive, collaborative and persuasive sales approach. Primary responsibilities will include:
* Building relationships with Universities, Colleges and Schools, following up leads, attending events (on a local and national scale), pitching for new educational accounts
* Presenting Diversity Travel brand and products to small and large audiences (parent information evenings, Student Union presentations, Gap year talks, University Heads of Procurement, Academics and administration teams)
* Following up on new leads and generating new ones through research and cold calling
* Working closely with the Account Management and Business Partner teams to ensure all business opportunities are maximized at a level that ensures the business achieves its growth targets
Skills Required:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch or German
* Experience of working within or selling to the Education Sector (Schools, Colleges, Universities)
* A proactive, collaborative and tenacious sales approach
* Demonstrable success in a business development role and managing a sales region
* Self-motivated as you will be working from home developing your own sales region
* Experience of selling a travel product into the Education sector would be beneficial

If you’re interested in our role and meet the requirements above, then please do get in touch. Our working hours are Monday - Friday, 8.45am – 5.30pm. You will be required to travel at least once per quarter to the Manchester office for training, team meetings or potential client visits. There is the option to work from either our office on hybrid pattern (3 days in the office) or your home location (in the UK).
