Health and Safety Manager Full-Time Salary: £35,000 £55,000 per year Benefits: Company car, pension scheme, on-site parking Hours: Monday to Friday, no weekends Location: On-site We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our clients team. This is a key role for someone with a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations. Working with a recognised Building contractor. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programmes and policies. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify risks and ensure compliance. Deliver employee training sessions on safety practices, including first aid procedures. Investigate accidents and incidents, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, incidents, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with management to promote a strong safety culture across the organisation. Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and compliance documentation. Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and changes in health and safety legislation. Requirements: Proven experience as a Safety Manager. Ideally within Housing, Building or related field Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices. Excellent report writing and communication skills at all organisational levels. First aid certification is highly desirable. Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing corrective actions. Strong analytical skills and experience in root cause analysis.
