About the Role: As Deputy Service Manager, you'll assist the Service Manager in delivering exceptional services, ensuring they meet both organisational goals and individual needs. Your role includes strategic leadership, staff management, and maintaining high standards of care and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Support to Service Manager: Provide leadership, manage resources effectively, and ensure regulatory compliance and quality improvement. People Management: Recruit, train, mentor, supervise, and performance manage staff, promoting continuous professional development and effective communication. Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain rigorous health and safety standards, overseeing regular checks and ensuring safe environments. Professional Practice: Ensure adherence to Positive Futures' mission, values, and relevant professional standards. General Management: Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, manage risks effectively, and continually seek service improvements. Qualifications & Experience: Essential: Minimum Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification with 2 years' relevant experience OR 4 years' experience in Health and Social Care; at least 2 years' management or supervisory experience; current or eligible registration with NISCC. Desirable: Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or acquired brain injuries. Skills: Strong leadership, effective communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and resilience.
