Senior Interior DesignerAward-Winning Architectural & Design Practice London | £45,000–£50,000I am working with an award-winning, globally recognised architectural and design studio that genuinely values design quality, collaboration and long-term career development. This is a Senior Interior Designer role for someone who enjoys owning projects, working closely with clients and helping set the creative standard within a high-performing studio.This is not a narrow interiors role. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary environment spanning architecture, workplace strategy, interior design and master planning. The London studio sits within a wider international network, which means exposure to best-in-class thinking, strong technical support and ambitious, well-designed projects.They are looking for a Senior Interior Designer with solid experience in corporate interiors and workplace design, ideally gained within a respected design practice. You should be confident taking projects from early concept through to delivery, comfortable in front of clients and capable of supporting and mentoring more junior designers.What you will be doingPre-projectLeading and contributing to tender proposals and presentationsShaping compelling design narratives for client pitchesPresenting confidently to clients alongside senior stakeholdersProject deliveryDeveloping design concepts, layouts, finishes, materials and furniture selectionsTranslating client briefs into clear project documentationProducing design and production information within agreed programmes and budgetsSpecifying products with a strong eye on quality, sustainability and longevityAttending client and project meetings and supporting site reviews where requiredFlagging risks and issues early and working collaboratively to resolve themSupporting smooth handover and completion of projectsWhat they are looking forDegree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or ArchitectureStrong experience in a similar senior-level role, ideally with around 10 years in practiceProven background in corporate interiors and workplace projectsConfident client-facing skills with strong presentation abilitySolid understanding of UK building regulations and standardsRevit experience is essential and will be assessed during interviewWorking knowledge of Adobe Creative SuiteStrong technical awareness of furniture systems, finishes and materialsAbility to mentor and guide junior designersExperience delivering fast-track projects is a real plusCommercial awareness and an understanding of delivering projects on time and on budgetInterview processTypically two stages. First stage is an in-person interview in London.
