We’re working with a large, national housing provider to find an experienced Fire Safety Business Partner to join their team on an interim basis. This is a three-month contract (with strong potential to extend), focused on delivering high-quality fire safety assurance and technical support across a diverse portfolio of properties. Interim Fire Safety Business Partner 3-month contract - Inside IR35 - £(Apply online only) per day - Remote with travel The Opportunity You’ll take ownership of a regional patch, supporting the delivery of fire safety across 11m–18m buildings. This is a delivery-focused surveying role, not compliance management. You’ll attend site inspections, liaise with contractors, respond to technical queries, and ensure that works completed meet the required standard. The successful candidate will support ongoing inspection programmes, including: Fire door inspections Compartmentation reviews FRA action verification Design input on fire signage schemes and minor works What We’re Looking For Social housing experience in a fire safety role Experience with site-based fire auditing and inspections Able to interpret fire safety standards and translate into action Level 4 fire safety qualification (Level 3 with strong experience considered) Membership of IFE (Graduate or higher preferred) Calm, pragmatic approach with the ability to liaise across technical and non-technical team Travel & Working Style Fully remote working with site visits required (patches in Midlands, North, and South) Typically 50/50 split between site and home Mileage and expenses covered at HMRC rates Flexible hours (37.5 hrs/week within 8am–6pm window) Rate & Contract £(Apply online only) per day Inside IR35 3-month initial contract Quick interview process (1 stage via Teams)
