POSITION DETAILS: Position Title: CrowdStrike Solutions Specialist [Cyber Security & Networking] Reports to (POSITION): Solutions Sales Manager [Cyber Security & Networking] Team: Cyber Security & Networking Department: Vendor Solutions Team Grade (If Applicable): N/A Location: Leatherhead / Reading / London PURPOSE OF JOB: The CrowdStrike Sales Specialist plays a critical role in driving Bytes’ joint success with CrowdStrike across new business acquisition, expansion within our existing customer base, and the execution of strategic co‑sell initiatives. This role exists to create pipeline, convert net‑new logos, and accelerate adoption of the wider Falcon platform by working hand‑in‑hand with the Bytes sales teams, Cyber specialists, vendor alliances, CrowdStrike field teams, and technology partners (such as Mimecast, Zscaler). Operating as the go‑to specialist for all things CrowdStrike, the Specialist will lead deal registrations, activate targeted marketing campaigns, and ensure early momentum through rapid completion of CrowdStrike sales and compliance training. Success in this role is measured through clear KPIs—including pipeline generation, bookings, net‑new customer wins, expansion activities, and proactive reporting into both Bytes and CrowdStrike leadership. Ultimately, this position will be accountable for overall CrowdStrike performance, strengthening the partnership, and driving successful outcomes for our customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Opportunity Creation & Deal Progression Deal Registrations: Register opportunities early and consistently to secure competitive advantage and ensure strong alignment across the CrowdStrike/Bytes partnership. Pipeline Generation: Build and maintain a high‑quality pipeline through proactive prospecting, registrations, and strong qualification. Net‑New Logo Acquisition: Identify, engage, and convert new customers onto the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, expanding Bytes’ presence in the market. New‑Logo Campaign Activation: Deliver structured campaigns, such as displacement initiatives and co‑sell programmes—to stimulate new customer engagement. Customer Expansion & Platform Growth Upsell & Cross‑Sell Execution: Identify and progress opportunities to expand module adoption within existing CrowdStrike customers. Expansion Campaigns: Run targeted campaigns across cloud security, identity, AI‑driven detection/response, and next‑gen SIEM to deepen customer platform usage. Enablement, Expertise & Knowledge Development Sales & Compliance Training: Complete mandatory CrowdStrike sales and compliance training to ensure readiness for customer engagement. CrowdStrike Platform Expertise: Build and maintain deep knowledge across the entire CrowdStrike Falcon portfolio, including modules, use cases, and product roadmap developments. Partner Programme Understanding: Maintain full awareness of CrowdStrike partner programmes, incentives, co‑sell motions, and enablement pathways. Organisational Insight: Understand CrowdStrike’s field structure, roles, routes to escalation, and operational rhythm to enable smooth collaboration and rapid deal progression. Ongoing Learning: Stay current with technology updates, threat‑intelligence insights, and new platform capabilities to provide informed, forward‑looking guidance. Partner & Internal Engagement CrowdStrike Office Presence: Maintain a regular presence in the Reading office to strengthen relationships, progress joint activities, and stay aligned with CrowdStrike field teams. Targeted Marketing Campaigns: Plan and execute focused marketing and co‑sell campaigns with key technology partners to generate awareness, stimulate interest, and support pipeline creation across priority customer segments. Partner‑Led Demand Generation: Deliver collaborative activities, such as webinars, roundtables, thought‑leadership sessions, or digital campaigns. To drive engagement, influence opportunities, and strengthen joint go‑to‑market motions. Governance, Reporting & Account Planning Quarterly Performance Reporting: Provide clear and consistent updates on pipeline health, activities, risks, and progress to Bytes and CrowdStrike leadership. Strategic Account Planning: Maintain a structured and active account plan to guide activities, track KPI progress, and support joint execution. Annual Fair‑Value Review: Participate in the annual evaluation to ensure performance alignment, partnership value, and future investment planning. INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Customer Sales: Attend and present at customer meetings in line with Bytes’ sales methodology and client acquisition strategy. Drive aligned sub-proposition solutions and services through the account management team, and support the wider proposition growth through collaboration. Sales Relationships: Develop and build relationships with Bytes accounts managers and sales managers in order to promote sub-proposition and main proposition area. Knowledge: Maintain awareness of industry trends, vendor solutions and emerging technologies to grow individual knowledge as a subject matter expert. Enablement: Support various types of sales enablement: sales teams, new team members, existing team members, sales management. Marketing: Provide content, articles, and presentations for use in sales events, marketing collateral, website content, or social media posts. Financial Metrics: Meet and strive towards exceeding GP and KPI Targets. Ensure accurate forecasting data to the Practice Lead. Personal Development: Ensure a personal development plan is in place with clear and set objectives and OKRs. WIDER TEAM NETWORK Internal Solutions Sales Team Presales Team Vendor Alliances Team Sales Management Team Account Managers Services Team External Customer stakeholders CrowdStrike Stakeholders CrowdStrike Technology Alliances Stakeholders Distribution and Services Partners QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Educational Qualifications: Minimum A-Levels (A-C) English, Mathematics, and technology related subject DESIRABLE Years of Experience Greater than two (2) years of demonstrable sales experience within software technology/ Cyber Security Experience of working with and selling CrowdStrike REQUIRED DESIRABLE Other Requirements Commercial and technology understanding across the Cyber Security & Networking market High-level understanding of other key IT areas: Modern Workplace, Public Cloud (Azure or AWS), Hybrid Infrastructure (including data, storage, and platforms), FinOps, AI, Data Analytics, Automation, Software Asset Management, or Service Management. REQUIRED DESIRABLE CORE Competencies & SKILLS Commercial acumen and ability to construct and drive negotiated outcomes to achieve positive results. Intermediate-level skills in use of Microsoft Office 365 suite applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with excellent customer facing skills. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Able to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility including occasional out of hours working. Excellent organisational skills - able to manage and prioritise and tasks and time of self and others. Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information. Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to activities and tasks. Able to work with business and technical stakeholders within Bytes, customers, and vendors.
