Overview
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience within the hospitality sector at supervisor level or above.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Ensure stock levels are managed at an acceptable level.
* Train, develop, and supervise staff to deliver exceptional service.
* Handle cash management and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
* Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and ensure proper food handling practices.
* Implement training programs for new hires and ongoing development for existing staff.
* Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Requirements
* Proven experience in restaurant management or as an Assistant Manager in a quick service or fast food environment.
* Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail.
* Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff training.
* Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the pub experience.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential.
* Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
