Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, between the hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm
Worker Type: Hybrid Worker
Salary: Grade I - Starting Salary is £46,142 (Level one) rising to £49,282 (Level four)
Location: Harvey Road (NG8 3BB) will be the contracted base for this role, but the postholder will be expected to be able to travel to other offices including Loxley House (NG2 3NG) and work sites, as needed.

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and inclusive Project Manager to join our Asset team at Nottingham City Council Housing Services. In this role, you will support the Head of Service to deliver high-quality repairs, maintenance, voids and improvement works across council homes, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
This role will primarily focus on delivering projects within the Decent Neighbourhood Programme, helping to drive forward improvements that enhance both homes and the wider community environment.
You will manage a range of housing projects that directly improve residents’ homes and communities, taking a customer-focused approach to enhance satisfaction, reduce complaints and build long-term trust. Representing the client at site meetings, you will ensure compliance with CDM regulations, health and safety standards, and industry best practice.
Leading a multidisciplinary team - including Site Managers, Project Liaison Officers and Technical Officers - you will coordinate resources, oversee performance, and promote a positive, safe and inclusive working culture. You will also contribute to continuous service improvement, lead post-project reviews and ensure robust risk management processes are in place.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Sound knowledge and practiced experience of project management techniques, ideally with experience of successful delivery of major capital and regeneration projects
2. Ability to prepare and maintain up-to-date project plans and supporting documentation and ensure a robust approach to project governance aligned to NCCHS policies and procedures.
3. Ability to analyse and interpret financial information and monitor and control budget expenditure.
4. Ability to demonstrate skills to drive and implement continuous improvement to provide a full audit trail of communication to ensure everyone is kept up to date.
5. Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex issues to a wide range of individuals and external contacts using a variety of methods
6. Driving Licence with access to a vehicle.
