Overview
Scientific Director - Ashfield MedComms, an Inizio Company. We are excited to have a new Scientific Director vacancy to add to a global, established publications team with a leading client. We are stewards of a portfolio that includes recently approved and pipeline assets, and are seeking a candidate that can own, manage, and organically grow their portion of the account through excellent delivery and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
* Own, manage, and organically grow your portion of the account through delivery and attention to detail.
* Create oncology-specific materials, including solid tumours and primary manuscripts.
* Deliver high-quality scientific content to support assets such as manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, infographics, lexicons, and gap analyses; podcast and video publication extenders may be requested.
* Mentor and review work of junior team members to maintain high standards.
* Collaborate with colleagues and clients as a trusted publications professional; build long-lasting relationships and contribute to account development.
* Demonstrate a thorough understanding of oncology; assimilate market, therapy area, and product information to inform discussions with senior team and clients.
* Maintain commitment to quality, energy, and a positive attitude to inspire the team.
Qualifications
* Medical Communications agency experience (required).
* Strong background in oncology, including solid tumours; experience in creating oncology materials.
* Ability to work remotely within the United Kingdom or hybrid/office-based in Macclesfield, Manchester, or London.
* Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver high-quality scientific content for patients and therapies; UK-based role.
