We have a fantastic opportunity to join our library team as a Digital Services Officer. Your key role will be to maintain and develop the library service ICT and digital systems, provide expertise and escalation, information, and data, to support operations and improvement in service delivery.
This role is integral to ensuring that our libraries remain accessible, innovative, and equipped to meet the evolving digital needs of our communities.
Managing a small team, you will lead on the continuation and enhancement of the library service's digital offer, supporting both customers and staff in the effective use of online platforms, digital resources, and emerging technologies. You will contribute to service-wide digital development while also providing practical, hands on support to ensure consistent, high quality digital provision.
Relevant experience is preferred and candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability to support and lead on ICT related projects, change management skills, and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with external suppliers and internal colleagues.
To be successful in this role you will need to be an effective team player, organised, and be able to work systematically under pressure and independently. You will be working within an organisation where everyone matters to make a difference for our communities. You will be based at Libraries Headquarters at Melton Depot with the opportunity for agile working from other locations including from home.
