This is an opportunity for a driven Client Success Executive to join a well-established e-commerce business on a part-time basis in an exciting time of growth and development. This role is office based and would suit an experienced person who is able to open doors and develop key accounts across the UK. The business has enjoyed significant growth and expansion over the last 5 years and is aiming to further this trajectory in the next phase of development.
Job Summary
The role presents an exciting opportunity to drive the key account management and new business for the company. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the success of developing our existing key accounts and new business opportunities.
To succeed in role, the candidate needs to have a proven sales track record in developing leads and bringing new business in. Be able to develop and build business relationships and have developed existing business relationships. Experience within e-commerce is desirable. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The primary responsibility of the successful candidate is working prospects through the entire sales process, including generating leads, educating them in our offer and converting those interested into long-term customers.
Role Responsibilities
· Identify and realise new business opportunities across a wide range of sectors.
· Proactively contact potential clients to self-generate your own pipeline opportunities.
· Converting prospects into successful clients through sales methods such as cold calling, cold emailing, to achieve revenue targets.
· Manage and grow a database of prospect clients and new customers
· Work with the Client Success team in creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
· Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs, the competition within their industry and their positioning.
· Maintaining and developing relationships with our current key accounts
· Actively promoting the brand and providing excellent customer service at all times
· Researching new markets
· Pitching products to new and existing clients
· Preparing product pitches and preparing presentations to prospective clients
· Becoming a subject matter expert on the company's products, processes and operations
· Maintaining customer accounts and records of sales
Knowledge, skills and experience
· Proven working experience as a telemarketer within ecommerce
· Strong track record of success with solid employment history
· Proven track record of sales closing (2+ years)
· Motivated by goals and targets
· Sound knowledge in key account management, negotiation and cross border e-commerce
· The ability to sell ideas, products, and services
· Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask
· A strategic and creative mind
· Excellent customer service skills
· To understand and propose products/solutions by focussing on the clients' requirements
· Solid IT skills and knowledge of software applications including Microsoft Office
· Ability to motivate themselves and others to create a positive working team
· The ability to accept rejection and maintain a positive mindset
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal to ensure professional interactions with both internal and external stakeholders
· A resilience to transmit passion and enthusiasm during a call
· Active listening skills and the ability to understand the customers' needs
· Excellent persuasion skills and the ability to build a rapport using a great positive personality
· The ability to work within a fast paced, flexible and entrepreneurial environment
Salary: £17k per annum
Working Hours: 20 hours per week.
Holidays: 23 days per annum + Bank Holidays (pro-rata for part-time)
