SEND Learning Support Assistant – Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
Your New Job
You will be working as a SEND Learning Support Assistant supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) across a well-respected specialist setting. Your role will involve working closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support, helping students access the curriculum and develop socially and emotionally. This is a full-time position, initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to be permanent if it’s the right fit for both you and the school.

The school ismitted to providing a nurturing and structured environment for children and young people with a range of SEND needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. You’ll be joining a dedicated team who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of their pupils.
What You'll Need to Succeed
1. Experience working with children or young people with SEND, either in an educational or care setting
2. A patient, empathetic and resilient approach to supporting pupils withplex needs
3. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
4. A genuine passion for helping young people thrive
5. An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Hays)
