About this Role
As a Van Driver Valet within our Truck and Trailer business, you will play a key part in keeping our fleet safe, presentable, and ready for hire. This role suits someone who enjoys hands on work, takes pride in quality, and likes being trusted to get things done properly.
* Preparing, inspecting, and cleaning trucks and trailers to Dawsongroup standards.
* Supporting day to day yard operations, including vehicle movements and organisation.
* Representing Dawsongroup professionally when on site or at customer locations.
* Completing electronic vehicle checks and condition reports.
* Working closely with colleagues to keep the operation running smoothly.
About You
You do not need to tick every box to be right for this Van Driver Valet role. What matters most is your attitude, care for detail, and willingness to learn.
* You hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
* You are comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks.
* You notice details others might miss and care about doing a job well.
* You communicate clearly and treat customers and colleagues with respect.
* You are open to learning new skills, including light mechanical tasks and inspections.
