Post-16 Learning Support Assistant – SEND (Newcastle)
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Contract: Full-time
Start: Immediate
Pay: £–£105 per day (PAYE)
A post-16 SEND provision is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to help young people prepare for adulthood.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting learners with independence and life skills
2. Assisting with vocational and community-based learning
3. Encouraging communication and confidence
4. Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff
What we’re looking for:
5. Experience supporting young people with SEND
6. A patient, encouraging approach
7. Interest in post-16 or transition support
8. Strong communication skills
