Job overview
We are seeking three part-time Healthcare Science Assistants for the Biochemistry laboratory at Furness General Hospital. These roles are suitable for individuals with previous pathology laboratory experience who can work under pressure and maintain high standards.
Main duties
* Work in the Biochemistry section supporting patient services in South Cumbria and North Lancashire.
* Choose from three available shifts: Post 1 (Mon-Wed, 07:30-15:30), Post 2 (Thu-Sat, 07:30-15:30 Thu, 07:30-11:15 Fri & Sat), Post 3 (Mon, Wed, Fri evenings, 18:00-21:30).

Qualifications
* NVQ 3 in Pathology or equivalent experience
* 3 GCSEs including English

* Experience in a Pathology laboratory or reception
