We are recruiting on behalf of a client who delivers technical training and eLearning solutions to the banking and financial services space around the world.
The open role involves sales and account management and it has a sales target of between £500k - £1m.
Our client is long established, recognised as an industry leader and is stable, well run and profitable. The client base covers all shapes and sizes of banks and financial institutions from investment banks to retail banks and asset managers.
A full JD is available upon successful application but the key elements are as follows:
* Proactively develop client relationships, anticipate and provide solutions to client needs and carry a £500k+ sales quota.
* Execute cross-selling and up-selling techniques.
* Own all aspects of sales and account management for allocated markets (banking/FS market) including lead generation, follow ups, face-to-face meetings, written proposals & RFPs, and new business pitches. This is a 360 degree role.
* Conduct periodic reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with the services provided.
* Achieve targets and KPI’s
* Manage and forecast sales pipelines effectively.
* Work in partnership with colleagues across the business to improve connectivity, deliver exceptional standards and quality of service across all interactions with clients or other professionals.
Requirements:
* Experience in a similar learning solutions sales role - you should also have sold to banks at some stage before.
* Proven ability to identify and meet client needs through a range of products and services.
* Experience of engaging with clients at a strategic and transactional level, using insight to influence outcomes.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to network and build relationships across clients, colleagues, and key stakeholders.
* Work effectively in a fast-paced environment managing workflow across different lines of businesses/departments including accurate proposal documentation, CRM data, information sharing between teams.
* Ability to develop a thorough knowledge of all product areas.
* Ability to work from the London office four days per week (when not out seeing clients)
