Citrus Recruit is excited to be working with a global organisation to recruit an experienced Supply Chain Manager. We are seeking a proactive and strategic Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimise all aspects of supply chain operations—from planning and procurement to logistics and supplier performance. This is a pivotal role within the business, ensuring the smooth and cost-effective flow of materials to support production goals and meet customer demands.
As Supply Chain Manager, you will work with the Plant Manager, manage a team of 7, and collaborate with key departments including production, engineering, quality, and commercial. Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Duties
* Drive strategic planning and execution of supply chain operations to meet business objectives and customer expectations.
* Lead materials planning, procurement, and inventory management to ensure continuous supply and optimal stock levels.
* Partner with production, engineering, quality, and commercial teams to support NPIs, VAVE projects, and customer-centric improvements.
* Build and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and performance.
* Ensure ERP/MRP system accuracy and compliance, while driving improvements to planning tools.
* Track and analyse supply chain performance metrics to identify trends, mitigate risks, and improve processes.
* Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team through performance management and mentoring.
* Ensure adherence to company policies, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Experience Required
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior supply chain or materials management role within manufacturing.
* Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field; MCIPS or CIPS certification preferred.
* Experience with ERP systems and planning tools.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
* Solid understanding of demand planning, supplier management, warehousing, and logistics.
* Knowledge of ISO standards and audit processes is desirable.
* Proven success in implementing process improvements and leading change management initiatives.
