Store Person
Wm W. M. Rose & Sons Ltd is looking for a Store Person to join our experienced team at the West Linton Depot.
Job Description
The role involves:
* Self‑motivation and proactive work ethic.
* Use of an integrated IT system for updating machine maintenance and customer records, purchase orders, hire enquiries/contracts and invoicing.
* Liaise with customers, Workshop Foreman and sales teams to clarify customer requirements.
* Maintain stock control and order purchase orders on the management system.
* General upkeep, control and organisation of the stores/ shop area.
* Identify parts and labour required for jobs and process jobs from start to finish, accurately invoicing completed work.
* Prepare timely warranty work documentation.
* General workshop/parts administration in conjunction with workshop, stores and financial departments.
* Resolve invoicing issues and keep computer system up to date to produce/send invoices promptly.
* Explore ways to improve and drive sustainable profitability and turnover, including marketing after‑sales activities within the company.
Experience & Qualifications
* Knowledge of parts processing is helpful.
* Experience with inventory control, invoicing and customer liaison is desirable.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
