A well-established manufacturing site in Corby is looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias.
The Role:
Planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery
Fault finding and breakdown response on mechanical systems
Basic electrical fault finding (sensors, motors, relays, panels)
Supporting continuous improvement and minimising downtime
Working closely with production and engineering teams
The Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience as a Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Strong mechanical background (gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics)
Comfortable with basic electrical diagnostics
Manufacturing or FMCG background preferred
Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / Apprenticeship)
