Registered Children’s Home Manager
Full Time - Permanent
Salary: Up to £50,000 Per annum
Hours: 40 hours a week

Are you a Deputy Manager who is thinking about taking their first registration? Or are you already a Registered Manager looking to work for an organisation with a different ethos? We are currently looking for a Registered Managers to run an outstanding rated 2 bed home based in Blackpool.
The organisation prides themselves on putting the care of the children at the heart of everything they do.
The aim’s of the home are to ensure a safe, homely and therapeutic environment for vulnerable young people. We ensure that the children and young person’s primary and developmental needs are priority by working to develop a strong caring ethos. Creating a safe environment in which the children and young people feel emotionally & physically secure, and thus facilitates the guidance & the development of their self-esteem and full potential.

Requirements:
· Hold a NVQ Level 3 Caring for Children and Young People
· Hold a level 5 Diploma in Leadership and management for Residential Childcare or happy to work towards it
· Within the past five years, spent at least two years in a position relevant to the residential care of children
· Worked for at least one year in a role requiring supervision and management of staff working in a care role
· Have sound knowledge of the Children’s homes regulation and quality standards England 2015
