Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting clients with their daily needs, promoting independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being. Duties
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Support with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
* Administer medication in accordance with prescribed guidelines and protocols
* Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
* Monitor health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals
* Engage clients in social activities and behavioural management strategies to promote mental well-being
* Provide specialised care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or hospice needs
* Drive clients to appointments or outings safely using company vehicles
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and update care plans regularly
* Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety standards
Experience
* Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings is highly desirable
* Knowledge of patient care practices, including dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and senior care
* Experience with medication administration and first aid certification is advantageous
* Familiarity with behaviour management techniques for individuals with cognitive impairments
* Previous caregiving roles involving childcare or support for vulnerable adults are beneficial
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks
* Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving client transportation

Pay: £12.21-£19.23 per hour
