Management accountant

Are you a part-qualified or “qualified by experience” finance professional with management accounts experience? Would you like to work within a small and friendly team within a well-established and highly successful business?

Transparent is proud to support this leading company in the recruitment of a Management Accountant. Reporting into the Finance Director, your role will play a pivotal part in assisting in the future development of the business, working as the FD’s right-hand person.

Duties will include:

• Accurate and timely production of monthly management accounts for group businesses including accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations and daily monitoring of the company cash flow models
• Maintaining the fixed asset registers and overseeing the company debtor/creditor reconciliations
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Managing month end close of ledgers
• Assisting in the year end process to include audit file preparation

This role would suit a driven and dynamic individual who wants to continue to develop as a Management Accountant in a thriving business.

The Person:

• Part qualified or “qualified by experience”
• Management accounts preparation experience
• Experience of Sage products
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Team player
