Salary: G7: £33,699 - £38,220 per annum.
Vacancies: 1 part time post (18.5 hours per week, permanent) and 1 full time post (fixed term until 31st March 2026).
What are we looking for?
Our transformed Family Early Help Service provides early help through a whole family approach, based on collaboration with families and with partners from schools, health, children’s services and the community. We have vacancies for Family Support Workers to enhance our sense of purpose and growing expertise.
We are seeking dynamic and experienced, family‑centred practitioners who hold a relevant academic or professional qualification at level 3 or higher to contribute to the delivery of our Family Early Help Service.
Responsibilities include working within a whole family model, engaging with children, young people and families, and collaborating with other agencies to achieve best outcomes for children.
Qualifications and experience
* Enthusiastic candidates with significant experience and working knowledge of an early intervention setting and statutory work with children and families.
* Reflective practitioners with a track record of holistic working with children, young people and families within a whole family model.
* Highly skilled in engagement and undertaking comprehensive whole family assessments with clear goals, using evidenced informed practice. Experience with children with additional needs and their families is welcomed.
* Ability to act as a ‘lead professional’ and work collaboratively with family members and other agencies to achieve best outcomes for children.
* Awareness of SEND, education issues and ability to work with schools and families to drive engagement in educational attendance and ambition.
