Retail Pricing is seeking a candidate to help manage risks, navigate regulatory challenges, and add value through assurance in key decision-making processes. The successful candidate will support governance reporting, identify improvements, and design new processes to enhance departmental and organizational effectiveness. The role also involves creating and reviewing numerical analyses. As the environment is constantly evolving, the candidate must have the desire and ability to learn continuously. Experience in Pricing or Governance processes is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.
Main Duties:
1. Monitor Management Information (MI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), providing insightful commentary on trends.
2. Conduct ad hoc data analysis to understand risks, such as pricing bias, and facilitate the resolution of Risk Events and governance queries.
3. Build strong relationships with internal Pricing teams and other departments to understand the impact of Pricing on customer outcomes and ensure timely completion of risk events and projects.
4. Perform analytical work within Fair Value Assessments and Pricing Policy reviews, ensuring high standards and timeliness.
5. Utilize numerical skills to understand Pricing impacts and develop creative solutions for risk and issue management.
6. Self-serve data gathering, e.g., using SQL, for analysis purposes.
7. Analyze data and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
8. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to articulate issues clearly across various levels and forums.
9. Proactively identify and investigate areas of concern using initiative.
10. Maintain a customer and commercially focused approach.
