About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to support pupils' learning, development, and wellbeing. This role is ideal for graduates interested in educational psychology, SEN support, or a future career in teaching. You'll gain valuable, hands-on classroom experience while helping children reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils
Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
Help create a positive, nurturing learning environment
Support children with additional needs, using strategies aligned with psychological principles
Foster pupils' emotional, social, and academic development
Requirements
A degree in Psychology (essential)
Previous experience working with children (highly desirable)
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient approach
Enthusiasm for supporting children's learning and development
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a school team
