Responsibilities:

* Leading the creation of market-leading reports and forecasts that inform strategy across the foodservice and hospitality sectors.
* Owning key market intelligence and operator forecasting, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.
* Presenting insights at events and forums, representing the business as a thought leader in the space.
* Managing client and syndicated insight projects from proposal through to delivery, ensuring excellence and accuracy.
* Collaborating closely with research, data, sales, and marketing teams to ensure insights align with client needs and market shifts.
Requirements:
* Experience in an insight, research, or strategy role – whether from an agency, consultancy, FMCG, retail, or hospitality background.
* A genuine passion for food, drink, and the wider eating-out market.
* Strong analytical and research skills with confidence in interpreting and presenting data.
* Skilled in Excel and comfortable with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Python or similar experience is a plus).
* Excellent communication skills – able to simplify data and inspire action.
* Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects independently.
* Comfortable presenting and confident engaging with senior stakeholders and clients.
Why join:
You’ll be part of a respected insight team shaping the conversation within one of the UK’s most dynamic industries. The company offers hybrid working, generous annual leave (including a personal “Me Day”), volunteering opportunities, enhanced family benefits, and access to a wide range of wellbeing initiatives — all within a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
