Join our Children’s Social Care Academy as a Team Manager, where you’ll lead a dynamic team delivering high-quality training to frontline staff. Following a recent Ofsted inspection, the Academy was praised for its impressive development and growing impact on practice.
The Role
You will co-lead the Academy’s learning team, managing performance, supervision, and professional development. You will:
1. Design and deliver training for staff at all levels
2. Quality assure casework and training packages
3. Organise impactful events—from small workshops to large conferences
4. Manage budgets and respond to service needs with agility
5. Office presence is key to building strong relationships, supported by flexible hybrid working.
About You
You are a qualified Practice Educator with:
6. Experience in training design and delivery
7. Strong supervision and quality assurance skills
8. Confidence in public speaking and event coordination
9. A collaborative mindset and ability to lead with purpose
10. You will also be comfortable sourcing expert speakers and adapting quickly to emerging priorities.
