Health & Safety Manager

£65-85k + package
This leading and rapidly growing principal contractor is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager for a major expansion of a cold storage facility in North Wales.
They're looking for a passionate and driven SHE Leader with a proven track record of delivering major construction build schemes from the ground up.
Reporting into the National SHE Director, the Health & Safety Manager will have at least 5 years' experience in a senior HSE role in construction and will manage the implementation of a professional, competent and knowledge sharing culture across the project, ensuring that best in class health, safety and environment is planned, implemented and shared effectively.
Responsibilities
1. Demonstrate strong leadership skills.
2. Assist the PD in the consistent roll out of company strategy and expectations within SOPs, Guidance etc.
3. Carry out high quality safety inspections of workplaces across the project.
4. Investigate any accidents/incidents.
5. Liaise with enforcement authorities if they attend site on routine visits or to investigate following an incident.
