Job Description:
As our new engineering manager you will be a key member of our local senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Leading and mentoring multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver world‑class cooling products. You will be responsible for managing Project Engineering, Design, Quality Control and Planning teams.
* Champion innovation, automation, and continuous improvement across design and manufacturing.
* Manage technical projects, R&D initiatives, and process development to enhance performance and efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with AS9100, safety, and quality standards.
* Collaborate across departments to optimise production, procurement, and quality outcomes.
* Take an active role in driving process alignment and developing meaningful connections with team members in both PWR Australia and PWR North America.
What we are looking for:
* A relevant qualification in mechanical engineering
* Proven experience in senior engineering or manufacturing leadership roles.
* Strong technical knowledge in product design, process development, and automation.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
* Advanced CAD and computer skills.
* Advanced consultation and negotiation skills as well as commercial acumen
