Key Responsibilities
* Support the LFA to deliver the Campus food strategy.
* Organise & control the efficient and effective running of the service whilst inspiring the team members.
* Utilise a “hands on” approach whilst maintaining a strategic eye for the development of business and team members.
* Work alongside other work streams, e.g., the Curated Experience team, to deliver events and experiences that are highly regarded on campus and beyond.
* Oversee the standard and quality of all food & drink; ensure items leaving the kitchen meet specifications.
* Gather customer feedback to understand their needs and ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
* Maintain audit readiness at all times, achieving high standards in finance, health & safety, food safety, and internal inspections.
* Conduct daily service briefings.
* Promote a ‘One Team’ culture, providing an integrated service approach.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* SCQF Level 8 minimum or equivalent cookery qualification.
* Exceptional leadership skills with core competencies in kitchen operations, service excellence, vision delivery, personable leadership, and team engagement.
* Over 3 years’ experience in a similar role within large-scale high-end catering and/or fast casual food service outlets.
* IT literate with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Innovative qualities and ability to take an active lead within a dynamic team.
* Ability to identify and resolve issues to meet and exceed client expectations.
