Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students.
- Assess students' current knowledge and skills to develop personalised lesson plans.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of each student.
- Help students improve their study habits and organisational skills.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure students' academic success.
- Stay up-to-date with educational best practices and learning strategies.
Skills:
- Special education experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience working with children of different age groups and learning abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to establish a positive rapport with students.
- Knowledge of tutoring techniques and educational resources.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
