Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Longdon Hall School, Lichfield, Staffordshire WS15 4PT
Salary: £20,906.25 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm | Tuesday to Thursday: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm | Friday: 8:30 am – 3:45 pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Start Date: October 2025

About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our brilliant pupils, each with varied and complex needs, supporting their unique learning journeys. You'll help prepare learning materials, run classroom activities, and provide hands-on support under supervision.
Beyond academics, you'll support pupils' emotional and physical needs, helping them grow as individuals and engage confidently with the world around them.
You will face challenges but flourish as you develop your skills, share knowledge with colleagues, and progress in a rewarding career path.

Who We Are Looking For
Experience of working in SEND settings is required
Adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles, indoors and outdoors
Caring and responsive, capable of running activities, leading outdoor experiences, or supervising pupils exploring new environments
A team player who values mutual support and collaboration
Full UK Driving Licence is mandatory for this role
