Copello have partnered with an established Engineering business in the recruitment of a Commercial Manager, based in Berkshire on a hybrid basis.
Please note that candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the day-to-day commercial contact
- Support bids, proposals and contract negotiations
- Identify and manage commercial risks
- Handle contract changes and resolve commercial issues
- Review, draft and negotiate customer and supplier agreements
- Ensure compliance with policies, processes and trade regulations
Essential:
- Experience reviewing complex contracts
- Understanding of contract law
- Background in Defence, Aerospace or similar sectors
- Strong commercial awareness and communication skills
- Ability to manage workload, solve problems and work collaboratively
- Good Microsoft Office skills
Desirable:
- Knowledge of export controls
- Procurement experience
- Degree in law, business, economics or similar
- Professional commercial/procurement accreditation
