We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic apprentice eager to learn and develop their skills in civil and structural design. The role involves assisting senior staff with design tasks, communicating effectively with team members, and committing to self-improvement in technical knowledge.

Responsibilities of the role
* Assist senior staff in executing design work
* Contribute to producing technical drawings and calculations
* Create and modify designs according to quality standards
* Coordinate with design team members effectively
* Follow company policies and adopt best practices
* Work within project timelines
* Coordinate design outputs to meet project briefs and standards
* Develop and maintain the Task Information Delivery Plan (TIDP)
Key Skills
* Relevant A Levels in Maths, English, and Science or equivalent qualifications such as Physics or BTEC Engineering
* Strong understanding of Maths and design software
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Proactive and committed to continuous improvement
* Ability to work within ISO 19650 processes
Technical Skills
* Proficiency in computer-aided design software
Decision-Making and Communication
* Ability to understand engineering concepts
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
Teamwork
* Ability to collaborate within and across teams
