Overview
We are actively seeking an experienced and professional CNC Machinery & Equipment Technical Support Engineer to join the team in Warwickshire. The successful applicant will carry out installations, service and breakdown requests, deliver first-class customer care and positively represent the ETG brand at all times. Development and training opportunities will be available.
Responsibilities
* Communicate positively and efficiently with the Service Desk.
* Visit customer sites to install, service and repair machines.
* Leave jobs in full working order and liaise with customers.
* Familiarise yourself with customer rules and working practices, including their health and safety policies, at customer sites.
* Provide feedback to the Service Desk on problems/issues observed on site.
* As required by the job/customer, there may be a requirement to lodge away from home.
Requirements
* Ability to install, service and repair CNC machines and equipment.
* Ability to fault find, diagnose and correct errors on CNC machine tools.
* Ability to assemble, set up and dismantle hydraulic, pneumatic and large mechanical assemblies.
* Team player with the ability to work on own initiative and problem solve.
* Knowledge of part identification and understanding of engineering drawings.
* Mechanical and electrical qualifications/experience.
* PLC knowledge.
* Excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills.
* PC literate.
* Previous experience as part of a service team is essential.
