Working alongside a Director to take over a portfolio of clientsReview company, partnership and sole trader accounts Review VAT returns Review partnership and personal tax returnsEnsure jobs are completed to a high standard and in a timely mannerTraining and supporting junior members of staffCommunicate effectively with clientsAudit experience is advantageous but not essentialOther ad hoc duties as directed by a director
The Successful Applicant
Be able to develop and build relationships with clients both internal and externalDemonstrates ambition & determination to support Partners in business developmentHave good communication skillsAbility to work unsupervised and to deadlinesHave worked in an accountancy practice with several years of experienceACA or ACCA qualified or QBEKnowledge of current accounting standardsGood MS Office Skills, mainly excel and wordExperience with popular accounting software products (Xero, Sage and QuickBooks) is essential and CCH would be advantageous but not essentialGood organisational skills and attention to detailProfessionalism, dependability and integrity combined with a co-operative attitude and a desire to fit into a hardworking but friendly team
