We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team at our Falkirk head office.
This is a hands-on, full-time role supporting multiple companies within a £20m+ group structure. It's ideal for someone confident working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with strong knowledge of Sage 50, payroll, and day-to-day finance operations.
The Role
* Maintain accurate financial records using Sage 50 Accounts
* Process sales and purchase ledger, supplier payments, and bank reconciliations
* Manage weekly and monthly payroll (in-house), including pensions and HMRC reporting
* Prepare and submit VAT returns
* Support month-end reporting and intercompany transactions
* Liaise with managers and external accountants as needed
About You
* Minimum 10 years' experience in bookkeeping or finance
* Strong proficiency with Sage 50 (essential)
* Confident managing in-house payroll
* Comfortable working across multiple business units
* High attention to detail with excellent time management
* Thrives in a busy, team-focused environment
* Must be willing to work fully on-site (no remote/hybrid options)
Working Hours
* 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Monday to Thursday: Flexi time available with core hours from 9:00am to 4:00pm
* Friday: Fixed hours, 8:00am to 3:30pm (early finish)
