We’re looking for a hands-on, conscientious Workplace Administrator to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of our Manchester office, supporting IT, office administration, and health & safety duties. You’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day operations, working closely with our external IT consultants and building management team.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support:
* Manage IT equipment (laptops, printers) and assist with onboarding/offboarding processes.
* Liaise with external IT support for troubleshooting and system setups.
* Maintain IT databases and ensure all office equipment is in working order.
* Office Administration:
* Oversee office supplies, meeting room bookings, and visitor access.
* Coordinate with building management and reception teams.
* Process purchase orders and manage shared office resources.
Health & Safety:
* Act as a fire warden and first aider.
* Support health & safety initiatives and ensure compliance.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Excellent customer service skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
* Basic technical knowledge, particularly with Microsoft 365 and IT equipment.
* Experience in shared office environments (e.g., WeWork, Clockwise) is a plus.
* A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
