About the Role
As a Senior Social Worker, you will manage and supervise staff, deliver statutory social work services, and promote the safety and wellbeing of children. You will have the opportunity to make a real impact by providing targeted social work services, assessing needs, and developing care plans. This is a role within one of Buckinghamshire Council\'s Locality Hubs.
In addition to the advertised salary, you will receive a market premium of £2,750 per annum.
Responsibilities
* Promote the safety and wellbeing of children
* Supervise and support staff
* Manage team duties and ensure quality practice
* Deliver statutory and early help services
* Collaborate with departments to achieve outcomes for children
About You
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for social work.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A recognized social work qualification
* Active SWE registration
* Substantial experience in direct work with vulnerable children
* Ability to manage and supervise a team effectively
* Commitment to promoting the safety and wellbeing of children
